ÅRSRESUMÉ 2013
January - 2013 started with me being hungover and I spent the entire first day of the year in my pyjamas with the world's finest guy. We did brunch and looked at a lot of great movies. A few days after I took a last minute trip with mom and dad to Egypt where we spent a week with the sun, beach and good books. It was very needed! I also used the heat to the max on the outfit front and some of you asked if I had had time for anything other than to shoot outfits while I was there, haha. When we got home it was fashion week and Formex Fair and my everyday life began to go on as usual.
February - February with all it's little celebrations! We celebrated Valentine's Day with a giant bouquet of red roses and a three-course dinner at TVÅ and the day after I turned 20 years old. It was celebrated with family and my boyfriend and then with all girlfriends at Berns. One of my birthday gifts was my 50mm lens that has raised the quality of my life a little ;) Haha. Then I got a permanent position at Blomsterriket, Devote came to visit and did a closet article from my apartment, my mom and I went to Hedemora and went to a lot of garage sales and I got a horrible flu which developed into intestinal inflammation and urinary tract infection that went up to my kidney. I got this hysterical inhuman pain described to me as "like birth pains" by the doctor, which felt very good. Had labor contractions been worse I would really have passed out, haha. It was quite nice to leave February behind!
March - I worked a lot in March and in between I tried to squeeze in lunch dates and outfit pictures. I was finally done with the decor of the apartment and showed it to you in both pictures and a video and then Emelie came up to Stockholm one weekend and then we had a drink night and went out and danced. Then I bought the first strawberries and discovered Veronica Mars. Now I have seen all seasons three times since then ...
April - April started on an airplane to Boracay where Jesper and I spent the first week in a stunning villa with his family and friends and the second week at a hotel just us two. It was a great trip with a lot of sun, good food and kisses. When we got home, spring had arrived to Stockholm and I replaced the boots and winter jacket with Converse and a leather jacket. I celebrated May Day with my beautiful girls Emelie and Mimmi in Gothenburg. They both live in separate ski resorts abroad now for the season and I miss them a lot!
May - May came as it should and all of Sweden was blooming. My mom and I visited London for the first time a spring month and was fascinated by the amazing flowering Hyde Park. We had only seen it gray and rainy! Since we don't have a balcony in our apartment were spent much time on the roof with a view over Stockholm and a sunny Saturday before Mother's Day my beautiful cousins children Leo was baptized. Then it was time to move out of the apartment for a pipe replacement that would take five weeks so we took our bags and moved back in with mom and dad.
June - June was such a lovely month! Summer came and I spent long hours in the grass with girlfriends, went to Gothenburg and celebrated my cousin Elias graduation, went to Summerburst, celebrated Midsummer on the West Coast with family, boyfriend and friends, celebrated mine and Jespers first anniversary, ate fondue on the patio and was possessed with Oscar Linnros new album "Klappar & Slag".
July - In the beginning of July I went to Italy with the family for a week. We were in Rome and then we rented a car to visit the Amalfi Coast and Capri with its surreal views and villages built at the rock walls and then we went to Tuscany and lived in a monastery among vineyards and big fields of sunflowers. Then I went a few days to my grandparents where we had bbq on the balcony, went to garage sales and I took the opportunity to meet some relatives. In late July, I finally got my long-awaited vacation and went early the first morning to the West Coast where I just lay in the sun bed all day and stayed up late nights with my cousins and watched Grey's Anatomy.
August - August came and the pipe replacement was still not done even tough it had already gone double time from what they said from the beginning. But my vacation went and Jesper also got holiday so we were on Brunskär, Fiskebäckskil and in Gothenburg. One day we went to Liseberg and ate cotton candy and rode the rides! The week before I started working again I spent with Emelie in Stockholm. We sunbathed, swam, photographed, took long walks, talked about everything, went to the movies, went shopping and a lot more fun. Before the holiday was over, I had time to go to Formex and we bought all the autumn things to the shop and so I visited Sweet Ambrosia for the first time and did eyelash extensions. Now it feels like I'm there all the time! Eventually the pipe replacement was finished and we got to move home and last August Jesper and I had a "end-of-summer party" on the dock with our friends.
September - The heat in the air continued as if it were still summer and I went bare legged every day. We celebrated my mother's 50th birthday with family and friends on the dock all night but two days after the cold and the fall came. The weeks after that was spent inside cafes with large cups of chai latte or at home in bed with my cup of tea, my book and my new obsession: white chocolate with strawberry pieces in. Then I bought this year's autumn and winter boots from Sarenza.
October - What a great month October was! Autumn came for real and my mom and I went back to London to hang out, have coffee in Hyde Park, shop our autumn wardrobes and eat long, tasty dinners together while we shared a bottle of wine. When I got home we celebrated Jesper's birthday, shot outfit pictures in environments covered with autumn leaves and Jesper and I ate a three-course, fantastically good fondue dinner at Shvejts. Then I got a super scary email from Danish advertising agency Related where they asked if I woulf like to go to Singapire with 9 other bloggers for a week on a sponsored trip. I was first out of the bloggers and said yes cause I thought that another Swedish blogger would come too, but that didn't happen. Terrified, I went off on probably the most fun trip of my life. I got to know such wonderful people, saw amazing places and ate crazy good food so I probably still haven't taken everything in.
November - November was a surprisingly good and cozy month. We went up to Hedemorasor All Saints Day, I cut off a big part of my hair, we were at a Christmas party with role playing in Falun and I got to meet a lot of old friends for a super fun night out, we went to the ABBA museum, to Father's Day Brunch in the archipelago, had football evening at home with friends and I rediscovered my crafty side and started baking and show you my DIY projects.
December - Yes, December, December. Who does not like December? It was packed with mulled wine, Christmas decorations, Christmas card writing, saffron buns, Christmas shopping, kisses under the mistletoe, Christmas music and Christmas flowers. Second Advent was my only free weekend and then Jesper and I went to Skansen to go on their Christmas market, look at the animals and eat their Christmas platters. Christmas Eve was celebrated at home in a traditional way with the family and my grandparents. The 27th I left to to warmer climes, also known as the Philippines and I ended the year on a beach with a filled champagne glass in my hand and fireworks exploding in the sky above me. Thanks for this year!
